About: Zake is a CORE user who can gateway to other worlds and use magic-like energy abilities through his CORE, for example; energy blasts, force fields, and even glitched teleportation. Zake is able to use his CORE either mentally or by projecting a hologram to show interfaces to others who may also see it, it is common for him to display his energy level too using his holograms.
Zake's energy is also linked to his health, any damage he takes is covered by his energy. He is also able to transfer his energy to heal a friend or ally or power a device or someone’s magic spell. However he also needs his energy to be awake too. Zake is able to restore energy by sleep and food, but if he runs out he falls unconscious and is forced to sleep it back.
Personality: Zake is usually friendly and tries to be helpful, yet can easily be embarrassed or nervous on some occasions. He easily worries about certain things too, and doubts himself over handling responsibility and promises. He usually doesn't like admitting about liking others, though if he finds a friend in a bad place, he will try to help them if he can. He can also easily be serious or even blunt in situations, and may not be able to handle jokes as easily.
- As a human: Zake is a male with tan skin, brown eyes, and black hair. He usually wears a green shirt with blue pants. Sometimes he also has a dark green jacket. He has a light greenish blue orb known as his CORE that’s visible on his chest, and it glows even through his shirt when he uses his CORE abilities. There is a small birthmark on his back but it’s hidden by his shirt.
If equestrian essence still lingers on him, his hair would instead match his 5-stripe blue pony mane, green wings will show on his back, and his right arm will gradient to the light greenish blue of his hooves, still being a hand.
- As a pony: Zake is a stallion pegasus with green fur, brown eyes, and a short mane and tail that has 3 different shades of blue in a 5-stripe order from outer dark to inner light, the stripes run down from the front end to the back end. His legs gradient to a light greenish blue towards the hooves. He has a light greenish blue orb known as his CORE that’s visible in his chest, and it glows when he uses his CORE abilities. His cutie-mark is a yellow lightning/charging bolt made of 2 triangles (⚡), representing a talent related to energy or power.

In the event that Zake does happen to actually die, his CORE will activate recovery protocol, detaching from his body while his soul and consciousness is stored within his CORE as it flies into space heading back to his home world where Zake will regenerate. The leftover dead body would decay in a week and can’t be revived as his soul is within his CORE. This usually takes him 2 days before he’s able to return to the world.

Effect
Upon death, Zake's CORE detaches from his body and is sent back to his home world for him to regenerate a new body under the recovery protocol. All personality, consciousness, and memory data is stored within his CORE. This usually takes a whole day to completely restore himself back to life. After which he is also restricted from gateway access for another day, so even after regenerating he can't immediately come back.
Duration
2 Days:
- Day 1: The whole day is spent having his CORE sent back to his home world where his body is regenerated.
- Day 2: After having a fully regenerated body, he is still restricted with the penalty of being unable to open gateways and leave his home for the remainder of the day.
Drawback
His dead body can't be revived, as his CORE contains his soul. However if it's not destroyed by death, it can be used by any spirit as a spare body for them to use, like a soul vessel. The body would decay over time however, at least within a week, but if the spirit using it tries to keep it in good health, it can last a month. As due to the missing CORE on the body, the spirit possessing can't use his CORE abilities either, this also means that the body can also be injured and damaged as well, as it was his CORE that kept trading off health damage for energy damage.
In fallout based worlds:
Due to fallout radiation, it’s unsafe to open gateways, main gateway ability and all hyper quantum movement abilities will remain disabled unless inside a safe place that’s clean of radiation.

If a corruption has been detected on Zake's CORE, it will attempt to remove or resolve the corruption and restore stability. If the corruption is critical, Zake’s CORE may disable its abilities for more processing power.

Zake’s CORE can support up to 4 installed modules that may either boost his existing stats or enable new abilities. On a powered foundation from either end, activating the Gateway Jump ability will allow the user to keep the rift open, enabling others to pass through and back. It takes power from a foundation to keep the rift open and stabilized, running out will close the rift. Only one end of the gateway rift needs to be at a foundation to keep open, whether that end will be from where it was opened at or if it’s the destination end, as long as either end is at a powered foundation the rift is able to stay open.
Building a Gateway Foundation may vary on the design, the foundation can be a platform, or a frame, but it must be able to support the rift it’s trying to keep open, power is a requirement.
WARN: This only works when casting the normal Gateway Jump ability, meaning the CORE User must have an energy level of at least 80% of their max capacity. If using an Emergency Gateway Jump instead, it will not be stable enough to be supported by the foundation.
Zake’s energy transfer ability on healing doesn’t cover sickness, diseases, or even viruses, it only works for injuries, cuts, broken or missing organs, any physical damage, etc.
Zake can still get sick, or corrupted and depending on how bad some of his abilities will get disabled.
Zake’s CORE is able to network into devices he is linked to and interact with data stored within them, but doing so will alert his presence to the connected device, this also serves the potential to remote control a computer he has access to.
Zake’s CORE can be used by others who he trusts, granting them access to use his abilities without the need to ask him to do it himself, however Zake is still able to override said permissions, for he is the owner of his CORE. (Although his owner is able to override him too.)
Zake doesn’t actually need to use holograms to interface with his CORE, as he is bound to it, he can just use it mentally and it’ll work just fine, his purpose of using holograms is mainly to be able to show things to others.
Users with either a device networked to his CORE or the ability to telepathically communicate with him mentally are also able to interface with his CORE’s terminal without the need to display the hologram, however Zake’s CORE will still identify them as who they are, not as Zake, thus their user ranks stays regardless of how they interface with his CORE.
The most basic of uses for other users on Zake’s CORE is as a group chat that his CORE hosts in its terminal, which is useful to separate some members chatting in local range to have a safe area to say what they need without everyone in the area having to hear it, and it’s also useful as a way to allow those who can’t speak to be able to communicate through the terminal, which can also be displayed on a hologram for others to read if needed, however the chat/command history and logs won’t stay on the terminal too long.
Zake’s CORE also serves as his inventory, he is able to store items within his CORE’s storage and bring them out at any time, but there is limited space in his CORE. This functionality also explains how he’s able to carry items with him through gateways that close behind him.
Zake’s body, though constantly regenerated by his energy in injuries, is however made of energized biological flesh containing his DNA.
Zake’s blood isn’t like any normal blood, it carries his energy through the whole body, as his CORE actually functions as his heart, using his body as his energy battery. If Zake were to bleed, his blood would glow green but then quickly turn to normal red as it bleeds out his body, though his energy would still heal the bleed almost instantly.
Zake’s energy capacity can be upgraded if he is able to make his body stronger.
Even if he’s out of energy, his CORE will still be active, within it is an energy generator that’s only actually effective when he’s asleep or knocked out as being awake would still draw energy out, his CORE uses this functionality as Emergency Power Mode(EPM), as it’ll try to repair his unconscious body and then restore his energy.
Zake may be unconscious from his body when out of energy, but his consciousness is still rendered through his CORE, he may still be able to think and process things even if his brain is unavailable, only that it will be very limited, he would just be able to use his terminal and that’s it.
Rare: If Zake’s energy level was at full capacity, he may be able to activate overcharge, temporarily boosting his max capacity by up to double his base capacity while also making his body strong, highly resistant to physical damage, and glowing with extra energy to use, really useful against enemies who are really stronger than him, but will quickly drain his extra energy if he doesn’t stay active.
Zake’s overcharged form will discharge the moment his energy drops below his base max capacity as he will otherwise be unable to maintain this overcharged form, and he won’t be able to reactivate it until a cooldown passes from discharge even if he restores his energy to max capacity.
